Bill
A bill is a record of money you owe to a vendor for goods received. In Peasy, bills are created automatically when you receive a purchase order and track what you need to pay.
How It Works in Peasy
- Bills are auto-generated when you receive against a PO
- View and manage bills from Buy > Bills
- Each bill shows the vendor, amount, due date, and payment status
- Bills move through statuses: Draft → Open → Paid (or Cancelled)
- Pay bills directly through Peasy if bill pay is set up, or mark them as paid externally
- Bills sync to QuickBooks as accounts payable when connected
Why It Matters
Bills close the loop on the buying workflow. After you order (PO) and receive (receiving), the bill tracks what you owe. Managing bills in Peasy gives you visibility into your accounts payable and helps ensure vendors get paid on time.
