Min Level (Reorder Point)

A min level (also called reorder point) is the inventory threshold below which Peasy alerts you to reorder. In Peasy, you set a min level per item per location, and the system generates reorder alerts when stock drops to or below that number.

How It Works in Peasy

  • Set min levels on the item detail page or in bulk via the inventory list
  • Min levels are per item per location — you can have different thresholds for each warehouse
  • When on-hand quantity drops to or below the min level, a reorder alert appears
  • Reorder alerts show how much to order based on the difference between current stock and max level
  • Min levels work alongside max levels to define your ideal stock range

Why It Matters

Min levels prevent stockouts by giving you early warning before you run out. Setting them thoughtfully based on lead times and demand patterns means you reorder at the right time, not too early (tying up cash) and not too late (losing sales).
