Connecting Shopify

If you sell on Shopify, you can connect your store to Peasy to import products, sync inventory, and keep everything in one place.

How to Get There

Click Configure (gear icon) in the sidebar, then select Integrations > Shopify.

How to Connect

What Gets Connected

After connecting, Peasy pulls in data from your Shopify store:

  • Products and variants — Your full Shopify product catalog
  • Inventory levels — Current stock quantities from Shopify
  • Product images and prices — Used during the import process

This data is stored in Peasy and kept in sync as changes happen.

After Connecting

Once connected, your next step is to import your Shopify products into Peasy. This is a separate step — connecting doesn't automatically create items. See Importing from Shopify for the full walkthrough.

Common Questions

What data syncs between Shopify and Peasy? Peasy imports your Shopify products, variants, images, and prices. Inventory syncs for linked items, and Shopify orders can flow into Peasy as sales orders. Product details are imported first, while ongoing inventory updates keep linked items aligned.

Is the sync one-way or two-way? Product import is one-way from Shopify into Peasy. Inventory sync can run Shopify to Peasy, Peasy to Shopify, or both, depending on your Shopify settings.

Can I disconnect Shopify without losing my data? Yes. Disconnecting stops the sync, but all items and inventory already in Peasy remain untouched. You can reconnect later if needed.

Can I connect multiple Shopify stores? Each Peasy account connects to one Shopify store. If you operate multiple stores, set up separate accounts in Peasy and connect each one to its respective Shopify store.

Good to Know

  • You can connect one Shopify store per Peasy account.
  • The connection uses secure authentication — your Shopify credentials are never stored in Peasy.
  • You can disconnect at any time from the Shopify settings page. Your Peasy data stays intact.
  • After connecting, Peasy's Shopify page shows your connection status and sync information.
