Location
A location is a physical place where you store inventory. In Peasy, locations are the foundation of multi-site inventory tracking — every stock quantity, lot, and movement is tied to a specific location.
How It Works in Peasy
- Manage locations from Configure > Locations
- Each item's inventory is tracked separately per location
- Purchase orders, sales orders, and work orders are assigned to a location
- Transfers move stock between locations
- You can set different min/max levels for the same item at different locations
- Locations can have their own address, which appears on documents like POs and invoices
Why It Matters
Locations let you see exactly where your stock is, not just how much you have in total. This is critical for businesses with multiple warehouses, retail stores, or production facilities where inventory needs to be managed independently at each site.
